Hidden in the jungle of the Yucatan peninsula, Ek Balam is considered one of the most beautiful discovered Mayan cities and definitely one of the best preserved. Our knowledgeable guide will show you and explain all about the Mayan culture, the various majestic structures and impressive hieroglyphs that decorate the ancient walls of this once influential metropolis. The highlight of the visit is climbing the acropolis, the last resting place of King Ukit Kan Lek Tok.
After the guided tour in Ek Balam, you will visit the Mayapan distillery. Later, we go to a colonial city, a charming town in Yucatan, Valladolid, a place where art and architecture are at the forefront, with its beautiful buildings in pastel colors and old historic churches. Finally, we will visit a beautiful cenote where you will have free time to enjoy its crystal clear waters and a delicious typical meal of the region.

Regulations of Ek Balam
Minimum suggested age 8 years-old. Guests must be relatively fit and must be able to swim.
Not recommended for guests with limited mobility.
For safety reasons, we do not recommend participation on any snorkel activity if you have respiratory problems, injuries, back/neck issues, heart conditions, or conditions that can cause loss of consciousness.
Cancelation policies of Ek Balam
Full refund will apply in the following cases:
1. When the service is canceled by the supplier.
2. Due to illness, presenting a doctor's report.
3. The Cancellation or date change is made prior to 11:00 am the day before the service.
No refunds will apply:
1. If the client does not show on the date and time of service.
